Sold me a damaged Handel Glass Shade

Don’s Lamps & Antiques,

Site (http://www.donslampsandantiques.com/lamps.html)

On 08/27 I named Don’s Lights & Antiques A.K. A (Shay’s Antiques) and talked to Mr. Donald Shay about buying his Handel #3619 Poppy Light.

He promoted as museum-quality and free from any lacerations, breaks or harm of any kind. He decided to promote me the Handel #3619 Poppy Light for $5,000 plus $80 for shipping, that we settled via Pay Pal.

After I received the light glass tone he delivered via FedEx, I observed the light glass tone had a processor about the edge.

I instantly informed Mr. Shay of the harm and that I sent him with images of the harm as he required.

He wished the images to create a state for harm with FedEx. After he obtained the images of the harm light glass shade, he charged me of damaging the light glass shade.

After I wanted a reimbursement, he explained he won't refund my income. That I really could just update to a different light for more money, that we decided.

I find the Handel Beautiful Light #5389 for one more $1,000 plus $125 to ship. And that I also delivered the broken Handel #3619 Poppy Light to GLASS FX to become fix according to Mr. Shay directions.

On 10/20 I obtained the Handel Beautiful Lampshade #5389 broken-in three items. Again I approached Mr. Shay to inform him of the broken light glass color. He got impolite with me and declined to talk to me.

After several times of contacting and contacting Mr. Shay, informing him he can't disregard the problem of the damaged light glass color. I eventually obtained a contact from Mr. Shay stating that FedEx just protects antiques for $1,000.

He also stated for me personally to visit his site to check out another light, that we did.

I then sent Mr. Shay stating that I had been thinking about the Handel Light #6748, and that I also mentioned within the e-mail this light price $200 significantly more than the Handel Beautiful Light #5389 that came damaged to my home.

On 10/27 I obtained a contact from Mr. Shay stating, he'd possess the Handel Light #6748 that I selected courier sent to prevent any harm for one more $3,650 for that light plus $350 for that courier’s shipping.

After I read this mail I had been surprised. I really could not think he desired me to pay for one more $3,650 for that light plus $350 for shipping.

I then named Mr. Shay to consult him why he was requesting so much cash for this Handel Lampshade #6748, when this light glass tone was just $200.00 more then your one which came damaged to my home.

Mr. Shay again got rude and explained when I believe he would absorb the entire price of the damaged light glass color, that I should be thinking.

I then advised Mr. Shay he was the main one who stuffed the light glass color with only Styrofoam peanuts, which he'd to understand the light glass color might transfer all around the container, during transportation via FedEx.

I finally figured I had been coping with an unreasonable vendor, and so I considered Pay Pal for guidance.

I subsequently informed Mr. Shay that I had been pursuing Pay Pal to recover my income. Just then did he decrease the cost of the Handel Light #6748 to $2,625 that we settled via Pay Pal.

And That I also had FedEx return the 2nd broken Handel light to him.

Ultimately Mr. Shay delivered the 3rd light (Handel Light #6748) hand-delivered by courier on 1/09. I instantly examined this next light for problems and that I realized that in addition, it had harm a cracked edge.

This light was also marketed on Mr. Shay’s site as free from any lacerations, breaks or harm of any kind.

Again I approached Mr. Shay and that I told him the light glass color includes a processor about the edge, and he explained he doesn't understand why the light glass color is harm, since he doesn't purchase broken lights to market.

Ultimately, I invested over $8,800 to get a light he promoted for $6,950 and that I still were left with a bit of crap (a broken light glass color).

I recently approached my local FedEx shop and that I discovered that Mr. Shay’s declaration that FedEx just protects antiques for $1000 isn't accurate.

Based On FedEx you can guarantee an antique product for whichever quantity it cost to displace it.

I also discovered he over-charged me for several three deliveries.

Buyers beware!
