Sends items diffrent from what is described and shown HORRIBLE customer service

I made a purchase from this e commerce seller for a simple inexpensive necklace. The necklace arrived very quickly however was shipped in unnecessary packaging (a waste of my shipping cost in my opinion). Upon receiving and opening the item I realized that they had not sent me the correct item but an item similar to what I had purchased. I emailed the company letting them know that I received the wrong item and without any question as to what I had gotten or what was wrong with the item i received they responded saying " NO, YOUR WRONG".

For starters what kind of company disregards a customer concern like that, especially without asking questions. After receiving this rude and unhelpful response i assured them that I did indeed receive an item different than the one i had purchased. They responded yet again only this time requesting proof. I took a photo of the item I received and attached it to a message along with the image of the item on their web page for comparison, no response.

After a day of being ignored I contacted the company again explaining that I do not want to cause a problem, I simply want the item i paid for and that i would hate to have to take further action and contact paypal if they would not help me. Again they responded in an extremely rude and forward way saying "We already told you if you don't like the item you can send it back but you will not be refunded your shipping cost." They said no such thing to me in our previous exchanges, in addition to that why should I, the buyer, be asked to pay the cost of the return shipment only to receive a fraction of my payment back especially when the initial shipping cost was so high to begin with.

After receiving this response i contacted paypal and filed a dispute. As soon as they were notified of this dispute they escalated it to a claim against me saying "We have escalated the Paypal dispute to a claim since we would like to cease contact with you. We don't have as much time on our hands as you do for a whopping $7 item. Thanks!" Honestly I don't have time on my hands for a whopping $7 item either, it is the principle of the matter! Don't advertise something you don't have and send a cheap knock off in its place because you THINK you can get away with it.

I have returned the item and I am currently awaiting a refund, lets see if they have the time on their hands to do something right and give me my money back.

To sum this experience up, this company is awful dishonest and rude. Their customer service is so far beyond unhelpful I don't believe there are words to describe my dissatisfaction. They do not send the items they depict on their website and refuse to help a customer with a small problem because they don't feel its worth their time. Honestly though the thing that bothers me the most from this whole experience is that if all this trouble is over a whopping $7 item, why the hell did i pay $20?

If your shopping online and really want an item shop smart and buy from eBay, Amazon, or a real company that doesn't think they are too good for their customers.

I hope this report will save some online shoppers from having a horrible e commerce experience.
