I contracted the Moving Company to deliver my furniture on 1 July they picked up on 14 June. They did not ship until 5 July and they claimed they had 21 days to deliver after the contracted delivery date, even though I specifically asked them if it would be there by the 1st, they told me no problem. On 12 July the company delivered my furniture (after me staying in a hotel for 12 days longer at a cost of $1900 extra), and several pieces were broken (shattered). On my dining set, they snapped the leg off of the table, a chair, and broke the back of another chair, not a a joint, where they are weaker, but at solid wood. I submitted a claim on 22 July after THEY gave me just 12 days to file, and I am still waiting for a response.in a nutshell, I submitted two estimates; one for $1105.00, the second for $1465.00 which did not include the $25.00 to repair the aluminum chair or $380.
