I selecetd US Wings for my Bomber Jacket because of their self proclaimed reputation and because I'm a Viet Nam Veteran and so is their owner. My complaint emails supposely were referred to the FBI and I was told to get an lawyer because they said I was threatening a US Government contractor.
I also tryed to bluff this company into fixing my jacket by refering their not so great quality to organizations that I belonged too. However they are better poker players than I and I had to fold.
My bluff was just that a bluff! They also referred me to a Leather company to fix the jacket or to try a local shoe repair shop to fix my jacket. Stange as it may seem but I remember buying the coat from US Wings and not a disinterested company. But the return policy is claer and the 14 day return policy expired and my complaint was two month later. My jacket after wearing it maybe three times tore on the pocket area. The tread riped through the seams so it would appear that to repair the jacket would require a patch. The jacket still smells new and is hanging in my closet as a reminder that becareful what you read because the words integrety mean nothing to todays businessman. The return policy is 14 days period so let the buyer beware, no exceptions no matter how much you paid for your jacket. The lesson learned is the trust that I learned on the battle field 30 plus years ago does not apply to this Viet Nam Veteran own company. Business is business and this often causes brothers to forget where they came from. The jacket is a disappointment but the real truth is I never expected to be treated like this by a fellow Viet Nam Vet.
