I was referred to usacomplaints.com by a good friend of mine who swears by this website! She was very pleased with the help that was given to her by BBB.com, and when she heard about my problem usacomplaints.com were the first words out of her mouth. I had to see what all the ranting and raving was about. Hence, here is my story...
I am writing in regard to a a situation with a leather jacket I own. The jacket was purchased at Wilson's (formerly Tannery West) in Seattle WA. I recently dropped off the jacket at a local dry cleaner, which then sent it to Leather Care INC in order to clean it. Upon receipt of the jacket I was appalled to find 4 gashes on various parts of the jacket, which of course were not there when I dropped the jacket off for cleaning.
Upon speaking to Leather Care and explaining the problem they simply offered to fix the jacket with some sort of glue. I am quite skeptical about allowing them to repair the jacket after the fact that the jacket returned from their establishment in such poor condition.
I realize upon cleaning leather sometimes becomes discolored, but how is it possible to become gashed?
The jacket was not an inexpensive one, not to mention one of my favorite belongings, which is now, not even able to be worn in such repugnant condition.
I would like to know if there are any other options I may have or if having it repaired by Leather Inc is best.
I appreciate any advice you may have. Thank you for your consideration.
