On 1/2 I had my Freightliner serviced at the Petro Lube in Milan, NM. They changed my oil, oil filters and also my fuel filter. I headed west and about hours 4 later my truck quit running in Flagstaff, AZ. I called a mechanic out and he found the fuel filter had not been tightened down properly.
His report read: "Traveled to site and found fuel filter empty. Driver said he just had the filter changed 4 hours ago. I was able to tighten the hold down ring 1/4 turn with ease". I was charged $337.92 for service call.
I called Petro Lube in Milan, NM and talked to the manager. He said if I had called him when I broke down he would have sent a service truck to me. I find that hard to believe since I was 4 hours from him. I faxed him the bill for the service call and he said Petro Lube would be contacting me. It's been over a month now and no response yet.
