I ordered what I thought was a genuine Canada Goose jacket from an online company professing to have the coats on sale. I input my shipping and credit card information, and waited about 3 weeks to receive my coat, when shipping was advertised at 5-7 days.
When I got the coat it was clearly a knock off, and not even a good one at that.in fact, it was falling apart, and not even wearable. I contacted the company to request return/refund instructions. That was 2 months ago, and I am still waiting for a reply. I have contacted them multiple times, both politley and impolitely, and still have heard nothing.
I contacted my credit card company, and they said they were unable to help me, as the company was based more than 100 miles from my home. Needless to say, I closed that account as I had been a loyal customer with a fantastic credit history for over 15 years. Seriously, why bother having a credit card at all if they won't protect your purchases?
I am hoping there is something someone can do to shut this company down, and make them pay back not only myself, but what I am sure are the hundreds of others they have, in effect, stolen from. If anyone knows any steps to take to get this done, please let me know. Thanks!
