My wife purchased a TaylorMade Superfast driver for me for Father's Day. I swang it a few times in the yard and did not like it. It is too light. When I tried to return it, the cashier called someone from the golf dept., who said "This has obviously been used." He then SHOUTED "We do not buy used equipment". The golf department person then said I could check with the manager, who promptly raised his voice and said the same thing.
It is possible I would consider a trade on demo equipment of like value, a store voucher or other means, but I was put off by the demeanor of the people and left, screaming at my wife to never shop there again. I have let some time pass to review in my mind what I could have done differently to have a better outcome, but I am convinced the people there just did not want to deal with this.
