There have been lots of vandalism happening in this community. Lots of breaking into cars, mail boxes opened in the middle of the night and even TVs have been stolen out of the community gym! Insufficient security! There are NO secuity camera which make it very difficult for residents to prosecute the thieves. Obiviously, the management does not care at all. When we 1st moved in, the agents said that this is a secured and safe place to live in. This is not a cheap apartment to live in! All the bad news make us anxious, it constrasts to the slogon "Time Well Spent". Avalon Woodland Hills presents itself like a resort but absolutely NOT a "Resort style living" that they advertise. It only looks great on the outside but the inside is full of worms. There have been lots of people moving out of the community. We are very unhappy about the security situation at this community. Btw, they just changed the security company a few weeks ago and make it even worse... instead of a few security staffs patrolling the enormous community, there is only ONE secuity guard (walking by foot) a night patrolling all the 12 apartment units which holds over 1000 people! You do the math! Oh, one more thing... You will find some surprise bonus in your apartment! What are they' They are ANTS! Lots of ANTS everywhere in the apartment! They come out from the bathroom, the kitchen, the hallway, the air vent system, anything you can think of! We call the maintenance staffs, they can do nothing about it cause they have to wait for the pest control. They don't come unless you complaint!
