Card Holder Management Services - LLC (CMS) Or Card Processing Center
Card Member Services.net Card Processing Center ripoff, Scam Or just bad business?

Okay, I found this site and I am hoping that someone here might be able to help me or at least point me in the right direction.

Here is my first problem:
I used to be a Spiegal credit card holder and I had an excellent payment record with them but was sent information as of December of last year that the card was going to be stopped and was assured that it was not due in any part to my credit but rather the servicing company At that time I do believe that it was called Nexcard.

I was told that the card was not going to be stopped until January (I forget the exact day) and that any purchases made after that date would not be covered.
This was good information because I had just used all of that card up on Christmas presents for my kids and other family members.

One of the problems is this, the card was stopped as reported to me in the paper but it didn't include any of the purchases that I had made in late November and early December (well before the cut off date). So, now I am stuck with these payments to individual companies. Separate and apart from the card as well.

Problem 2:
I have been trying to contact the company and have had no success. Spiegal has referred me to: Card Holder Management Services, LLC (CMS) and given me the phone number I posted earlier.

The problem with this is, No one answers the phone there and it is just a recorded message that gives you the "outstanding balance" of your account and avails you the ability to make a payment.

So I called Spiegal back and they gave me a web address "cardmemberservices.net". So I went to the site and it told me to put in my credit card number so I did and it said that it didn't recognize the number. Now this is the number that was on my STOPPED credit card as well as the number that they are using on the statements.

I have written them and had no reply to my inquiries. So now what? I have a 25.00 dollar payment on this card and have been paying 35-50 dollars on it a month for almost 1 year now since it was stopped and my statements are telling me that I have only made a dent of 123.65 cents. Come on...

I cannot contact them to discuss a change in the APR because I can never speak to a real person at the contact number and I cannot leave a message at the web site because it says that it doesn't recognize my card number. I mean this is a card that no longer exists and thus cannot be used.

Although, I am being billed regularly by this automated company that has no living beings to deal with. Along with a refusal (not written just incurred) to pay on the last purchases made with the card even though the dates of purchase coincide with the requirements made by the company. I have questions and no where to turn. If there is someone else out there that is or has had these same problems please let me know what you have done or let's put our heads together and find some direction.
