Yahoo! and 5/3 Bank
Forced unauthorized payments using blocked card number for services never used by myself, unable to prevent same from re-occuring, Class A Loser companies

Last year, while viewing my bank account information, I noticed a charge that shouldn't have been there. I made steps to correct this problem. I made efforts to contact Yahoo! And had the card supposedly closed out. Later I found out it wasn't closed, rather blocked. Still yet, it WAS blocked. Blocked for a purpose, so maybe I should leave an identical complaint for 5/3. A month later, I noticed that the charges had been taken off and, because my bank card was supposedly closed out, I never gave it a thought. I thought I'd made it out of the water.

Boy was I wrong! This year, the same charge has cropped back up. To my surprise, this charge showed a card number I hadn't used in over a year. The same problems I thought I'd fixed last year were thrown into my face again. This time, I'm extremely low in funds and will be forced to pay my credit card bill late due to another unauthorized transaction by Yahoo! I would've thought, if I received a refund last year, that they would've corrected the problems so I wouldn't have been billed again this year.

Perhaps as well, when they had trouble with receiving a payment from my bank due to a blocked card, they should think to have contacted the card holder to see what the problem is. Then, I could have told them their charges are fraudulent, that I've never received any extra mail storage services. Then, instead of pulling money from the bank, they could just close whatever fictional account has been created with my money against my will. I don't even know how they have my card number. I used it for shopping, but never for any other service. I'd close it myself, if I knew who created it and could get the user ID and password. Of course, I don't know those because I didn't ever use the service.

They do have a long distance number I can supposedly reach them at, but I'm already out 20 dollars because of them. I don't think they'll reimburse me for a phone card so I'm relying on e-mail to resolve the problem. A problem that should've ended a year ago when it began. What good is a block on a card, if it isn't blocked? My suggestion for anyone who is being charged, don't just ask for a new card. Ask for a completely new account. Otherwize, they'll track you and they'll take you for all you have. What kind of company does it take to force a payment through a blocked card; A dishonest one!!! What kind of bank does it take to allow such a transaction; An irresponsible one!!!
