I purchased a Caller ID from the Target Store in South Gate. It was defective and I returned it. The Customer Service man said that the Target Policy only allowed for the return of UNOPENED electronic equipment. I explained that it was defective and didn't work and I wanted a refund. He said that since I had opend it, I was not elegible for a refund. I told him that I HAD to open it in order to find out it didn't work. -
Well we went round and round on this track for a few minutes and I finally realized that this guy wasn't listening to reason. I then contacted Target via Email and got the same canned response.
What really makes me angry is, normally Target is a great place to do business with. They really dropped the ball and kept dropping it over and over again.
I have the Caller ID sitting in my drawer as a reminder that Big Business doesn't Get It
