Mary Novell of "Let me market U" hired us for her New Years Eve charity fund raiser. Funds were supposed to go to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. She does not know how to market, because very few people attended her event. Over promised and under delivered. However, there were enough people there for her to pay her vendors, but she kept the money from that night, and did not donate any of it to charity.
She complimented us on our service and offered to hire us for next year. She wrote us a check and asked for three business days so that this events proceeds could be deposited and cleared. That night but put a STOP PAYMENT on her check. She asked for the three days to make sure it could not be cashed.
We took her and Audrey Washington (Co-organizer of the event) to court where they admitted they owed the money and agreed to make installment payments.
