My son is in the service at Fort Drum & I sent a money gram to the Wal-Mart in Evans Mill, NY. I spent the extra money so he could get it immediately & it was advertised that the store would be open til 11pm at night. He went to the Wal-Mart at 7:30 pm & it was closed so I called the MoneyGram customer service # to complain & they said he could drive to another town & pick it up. First of all, my son is serving our country & has no vehicle at Fort Drum. I guess they thought he could pay a taxi $25 or more to drive to another city to collect $200. The customer service agent said it wasn't their fault that the Wal-Mart was closed. They had it advertised on their website that it would be open so I think it is their fault.
