We supplied, delivered and installed our premium bluegrass sod for one of Orr Construction's projects in Denver last November. We have never received any phone calls after numerous attempts to collect payment for our product and services. We have attempted to call them to find out when payment would be made and would have to leave messages to which, of course, we never heard back.
We did file a lien against the property for the project in May, which Orr Construction also received a copy of the lien being the contractor on the project. Do you think we have heard anything from either the property owner or from Orr Construction? Not a chance.
From the lack of response from Orr Construction prior to the lien and after it had been filed shows that they do not have integrity or any business sense when dealing with subcontractors that keep their business growing. After so much of not paying subcontractors and vendors it will come around and Orr Construction will be hanging just like the rest of us.
