We are an Electrical Contractor. We were hired by Witte Construction to do Electrical work for a homeowner in Dallas. Once we completed the work we submitted our invoice. Mike Witte, owner of Witte Construction continually told us he hadn't been paid and was unable to pay our invoice. Mike began to avoid our calls.
After 60 days of nonpayment I called the homeowners to find out if they had already paid Witte Construction. They had in deed paid their bill several weeks earlier. When the homeowner questioned Witte Construction Mike told them he had paid all of his subcontractors in full.
The homeowner checked into his story and found out he had not paid the plumber either. Almost 3 months later and we have yet to receive our money. We have filed a civil suit against Witte Construction and advise anyone against doing business with this company.
