My 9 year old was looking for a Harry Potter lego set, one of the small boxes, typically $10 in the stores, so $9.90 plus $4.40 shipping seemed reasonable. I helped him make the purchase. One week later ONLY the small manual arrives.
I jumped back on to try to see if something went wrong, my receipt says Lego Harry Potter set, NOT manual and the photos were of the actual set, not just the instruction manual.
When I got back online this item was not under the "manual heading" as some others have implicated here. The fine print online does now show instruction manual, so I simply put in a dispute to see if we could return it, less the shipping of course, but after the dispute was opened he never responded to the dispute, nor did he ever answer emails or phone messages, so the bank credited all of the charges.
I am now in the process of sending this manual back and his return address on the package is bogus, tried it on mapquest and google maps and no such address, so I cannot even send back the damn little booklet. I want proof it got back to him but I cannot even do that unless fedex can justify the address.
I guess he is the loser in all of this. Maybe that's a good thing because one of you may have been his next victim.
In closing all I have to say is pay with your credit card or your paypal account so that you can have some recourse if you pay by money order you are hosed!
