The first consultant that i was given at Bella was 8 months pregnant and sold me a package for my wedding. She told me that when i go thru the album process I would sit down with someone and select pictures then i would get 3 revisions before my final album was put into production. (signed contract 15 months prior to wedding).
Not to my surprise during the 15months awaiting my wedding i was given 3 other consuitants to assist me if all acitivities before the wedding day. (Clearly cant keep good employees).
After the wedding was over, i was contacted to begin the album process, it was then that i found out i would not be sitting down with anyone to look over pictures. They sent me 3 CD's with 1200 pictures on it. The website that i was to use allowed me to view 1 picture at a time and my album only could have 40 picutres.
When first going on the album website i had to accept guidelines which stated i would use a numbering system to select the pictuures and after that was over i would get up to 3 revisions to make any changes once i saw how the pictures were laid out.
After selecting 40 picutres (extremly difficult when using a numbering system and can only see one at a time) i submitted and awaited the first draft. I got an email a couple weeks later asking to confirm my shipping address. When i asked why since i had 3 revisoons i was told i purchased a "cheap" package and wasnt allowed any revisions.
I continued to argue with representatives and managers and got no-where. I was told that the website was re-designed based on there new packages so the guidelines that stated i would get 3 revisions just didnt apply to me. I went on to look at my contract which said one the last page all of the terms & conditions. Even on the contract it said i was to get up to 3 revisions.
When i brought the legality of this to Bella's attentions they told me they have a very good legal team and that disclousre is on every contract regardless. He also stated that the packages changed a month after i selected and all the new packages have revsions however i fell into the ditch of having the old package.
After fighting for 4 months i finally gave up, my album was valued at $900 and they were not willing to negotiate to try and make things better. They stated there was no way for them to give me a revisions since my album was "cheap" and there was no digital component to it. I provided my shipping address...
I got my album yesterday, talk about a piece of crap! The SIMULATED leather is ugly and blank, nothing on spine cover or back. THe picutres are mounted and glued in. Some picutres that clearly should have been rotated were not so they look very strange. Also, the picutrs are not the greatest and that is due to the terrible website that you have to use to select your pictures.
Overall, I feel my orignal consultant knew that she was going to be gone from the company once it came time for me to realize i didnt get revisions and she couldnt take the fall for it. I was treated very poorly and would never recommend Bella Pictures to anyone!
