They do not honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee with money back if not completely satisfied

On 5/14/10, Bill from Independence Heating & Cooling (IHC) came to service my AC Unit, did some electrical work & sold me a service contract totaling $267.00. My receipt states that our unit & motor were in GOOD condition. Two weeks later the AC stopped working again. On 5/31/10, Jamie from IHC came out and said I needed a Fan Motor. He did note that I should consider upgrading to a new unit but HE SAID THAT FIXING THE FAN MOTOR WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM! Then, on 6/4/10, after phone calls, emails and an emergency call to IHC, Jamie returned to replace the Fan Motor totaling $303.53. TWO DAYS LATER the AC stopped working again! On 6/7/10, Eric from IHC came out and informed me that I needed a whole new AC unit. After paying $570.53 in repairs they said I need to spend more money on a brand new unit! I had been asking to speak to the owner for a week, so finally the owner Don Kaiser came to look at the AC unit. After being rude to my wife for asking for our money back or a resolution, Mr. Kaiser said, I dont care if you threaten me with the BBB. Go ahead and call your lawyer! He called that day & stated he would only deduct $512 of the $2794 it would cost for a new AC unit. He refused to quote us any specifics, nor did he put it in writing, adding that any other AC unit would cost $5K-6K or only save us $75 and just fall apart. Considering all the facts & the inconvenience caused to my wife and 2 small children, I asked Mr. Kaiser to honor their 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE WITH MONEY BACK IF NOT COMPLETELY SATISFIED statement as posted on their site (http://www.servicemagic.com/rated.independenceHeating. 10737680.html). Not only did he refuse to honor their guarantee, he said, I will tell Suzanne to send you a check for $209.00 to cover the service contract, and I dont even have to do that and then HE TOLD ME I WAS WASTING HIS TIME AND HUNG UP ON ME! I would like to have my money back for work done to a unit that they now tell me is not worth being fixed to buy a new AC unit elsewhere.
