I received a phone call from Andy Tomas claiming to work for AT&T telling me i was receiving a free cell phone. He told me i had a year to decide if i wanted to keep and activate it for a fee of $49.95 with a service plan of $19.95 a month and free voicemail. My options were to pay by credit card or bill to my home phone bill only after receiving the phone.
The only thing i agreed to was getting the phone to look at and instead of the phone, i received a certificate to send in for the phone along with my activation and service fee. Nowhere did it say on the certificate that i could get the phone and pay later.
The guy who claimed to work for AT&T gave me his toll free number to call with any questions, but upon calling him it wasn't even a phone number. I got a big shock when i opened my phone bill and there was a $77.73 charge from Oan services for a phone i never received or agreed on.
Then on the bill it included their website which i tried to go to and this site poped up instead. I hope they get caught for doing this to people.
