I trusted the "Jeff Quinton Super Team" to handle the listing of my home. After reducing the price Jeff still did not find a buyer so I ended up with no choice but to enter a short sale negotiation. I have experience with short sale transactions but Jeff insisted that it would be much easier if I let his office handle the transaction so he could make sure it went "smoothly". After a month and a half I decided to check with my lender to see how things were going and they had no record of receiving my short sale package or speaking to Jeff's office. Jeff said it was a mistake and that he would stay on top of everthing from there... Which didn't happen. A short sale should take 60-90 days to negotiate and I was a PERFECT candidate for a short sale. I started the short sale process with Jeff and a buyer in November and in JUNE finally was told by my lender that my short sale had been denied!
The worst part was it was denied because Jeff and his office did not send the required information in time after multiple requests were made to his office. I asked for update after update and Jeff would not even answer the phone... And rarely even asnwered a text message... How hard is it to answer a text, but if you call his cell phone (which he has NEVER ONE TIME answered) it tells you to text him and he'll respond quickly. I would not recommend Jeff to anyone and wish I would have never given him the opportunity to screw up what should have been the easiest transaction he had.By the way I let him choose the buyer (so he could get both sides of the commission) and still was treated this way. I strongly recommend you to USE SOMEONE ELSE AS A REAL ESTATE AGENT IN OCEAN CITY NJ!
