Their leased office equipment has been reposessed. Tom Jewell hassn't paid his rent in years even though his landlord is his own elderly aunt! Tom Jewell finds brokers, promises them a share in the firm but the hapless brokers find that the only thing they're sharing is Tom's debt. The firm has fallen to such a state of disrepute that they have changed their name to Carter Braxton Properties.
