I received fraudulent American Express cheques from American Express Processors, CardPayment Solutions, of Santa Barbara California. I received them through their Federal Express account. The senders name was Chris Curry of CardPayment Solutions. CardPayment Solutions (http://csiprocessing.com/index.html) is a company that services all major credit cards by way of making and producing checks. I was asked by a friend to cash beneficiary cheques for him due to the loss of his mother. After I received the cheques I called American Express Fraud Department to confirm that they had a life insurance program of that sort established for their customers, as well as to confirm the validity and serial numbers of the cheques. I was told by American Express Fraud Department that I could cash the cheques for my friend. CardPayment Solutions seems to be a highly respected company that provides services for banks in all states as described on their home page. Their home page also stated their expertise and reliability to enable merchants to accept credit cards, debit cards and checks. CardPayment Solutions provides customers service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in several different languages, and have a variety of products to choose from. CardPayment Solutions is one of Americas fastest growing merchant account processors. Before cashing the cheques I verified this information on their website listed above. A week later I found out that the cheques were fraudulent and I took legal action against CardPayment Solution.in our court case number: 0702-0015608 (March), I was granted $5000.00 due to the loss of money in my bank account from cashing the cheques and later on in the year a judgment for$30,000.00 for a false arrest charges. This case was granted at the District Courthouse in Glen Burnie, Maryland. During the ordeal I found out later that American Express do not make the cheques in the denomination of five hundred ($500.00) dollars. When I presented the cheques for payment I also provided the bank with two forms of ID, my military ID and my Maryland State drivers license. I cashed two cheques at Arundel Federal Credit Union in Glen Burnie and then later was with charged by the Arundel Federal Credit Union with 5 counts up to 15 years each on fraudulent charges. I was arrested in November by way of notification from the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA). MVA advised me to report to my local police department headquarters, which I did immediately. My driver license was suspended for six months. All charges were dropped against me immediately on the court date. I paid the bank back the money ($1000.00) and I also proved where and how I received the fraudulent cheques from CardPayment Solutions. I was told by the judge I could go down stairs in the Annapolis Court House (May) and expunge my case from my record immediately. I was then told by my lawyer not to expunge my case until my cases number 02-K07-000511 IF against the banks were completed. I notified the VP/General Manager Jon Allen of CardPayment Solutions about the fraudulent in April and he first agreed to talk to me about the situation. When I told him the somebody in his company provided fraudulent cheques thru the companies FEDX account he then refuse to talkm to me anymore. This is bad enough that you have people committing fraud by making checks, but this is a TOTAL DISGRACE for a company like CARDPAYMENT SOLUTIONS of Santa Barbara California who is a legally company to make checks to commit fraud against innocent people. This company falls under iPayment of Nashville Tennessee. CardPayment Solutions now is refusing to pay me the JUDGEMENTS ($35,000.00) of the District Courthouse in Glen Burnie, Maryland. My character has been defamed! I also have evidence on my medical records of the emotional suffering and distress that I suffered during to this horrible situation. My wife and I have suffered the lack a lot of emotional problems in the first year of my false arrest case due to me not knowing what was going to happen to our lives. I am still today suffering from not being able to sleep normal due to bad dreams regarding this whole ordeal. This type of companies needs to be STOP NOW!
