Called to get estimate to move mobile home. Made appt. For following day. This should have been first clue, when they had nothing to do! Met movers following day. They were an hour late. Driver did not have $50,000 insurance that owners indicated that they would provide. No contract guarantee of completion date, liability ins., itemized list of services to be performed.instead they had a bill of lading, freight bill, site preparation notice, and a disclaimer for any event, even if they wre negligent!!! I provided cashiers check in full payment. When they refused or could not provide insurance, they{non-english speaking hispanics} left site. I called owner whom confirmed that they could not provide insurance and did not need insurance because they were not responsible for anything! Stay far away from northstar transporting!!!
