Made arrangements with "Mr. Freely" to pay off an old Chrysler LEASE truck debt. Northstar approached me with a settlement offer. I paid ALL pauments and 1 week before the last payment was due, a "Tony" (refused to give last name, stated that Mr. Freely was no longer there and that my "pay off" is now DOUBLE the agreed upon amount. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General today. DO NOT GIVE NORTHSTAR ANY MONEY! They do not honor their agreemnets and I am not even sure that they are actually the debt collectors for Chysler... IF you do any business with them, under NO circumstances do this by phone; make them email you at every moment so that you have proof of any agreement.
