Being accused falsely of viewing pornography over the guard-station Internet computer located at the Main Desk of Allied Barton's (SpectaGuard, when I was working there in 2002) client in Horsham - because of the nature of some of the content I was legally compelled to report this to Horsham PD - I was terminated for "defending myself, " not ever getting or keeping a job since.
(when I get a job that "does a background check after hiring me, " I get terminated immediately after the results of the check come back, and for those jobs where you have to "fill out the Social Security # background check prior, " I never get called)
Reporting to work for my scheduled afternoon/evening shift I was approached - almost apprehended - by two of my "account managers, " with them taking me to a side office. The first words I heard them say "was that I was (being accused of) viewing 'really grotesque pornography' over the guard-station computer on this particular client site." To their indictment I responded "NO, I am viewing my MSN e-mail and CareerBuilder, as you had previously stated I was allowed." They then backed down, saying "Well, it was really not that bad - just 'Bikini.com'" - to which I responded "make up your minds as to what it is you are accusing me"!
They told me "Do not do it again" - I responded "I have NOT been doing anything wrong" - to which they responded (to the effect) "get to the guard desk and watch yourself."
Forced by this damning indictment to defend myself I did a search of the computer to see if anybody had been accessing the guard-station computer while I was on my rounds, and discovered all types of extremely grotesque (involving people and animals) pornography being down-loaded... Around 2,3, 4, and 5 AM. My shift was afternoon - Midnight. Also, these images had been coming in roughly several months before my employment with Allied. Some of the icons in these.jpgs and. BMPs provided a link to other forms of activity, which made it necessary to contact Horsham PD. Because of the nature of the link I NEVER opened these images, but did a screen print of the Internet history proving what had been on the computer, without viewing those sites.
Telling the Midnight guard when he arrived that evening to "be careful that somebody might be accessing your work-station 'when you would be making your rounds' and viewing these things"... He was the only one in the secured building during these hours... So knowing wherein the blame lie... He did not show up the next night.
Allied had to terminate him (of other ethnic background than myself); and because they had to let him go, they let me go saying " (I) performed an illegal investigation" (completing distorting the truth, because they were covering for him because, even though a complete sexual pervert, he did arrive every night, on time for his appointed shift).
Being hired again at another prestigious site, through another security company, who was sub-contracted to Allied, upon Allied's background check (discovering my past history, where this untruth (they tried to make me guilty of some form of pornography as well) was again manifested and my reputation has been again tarnished.
Seeking afternoon/evenings in 2002 was so I could attend seminary during normally scheduled day classes / seeking this shift again years later was so I could get my public school teaching credentials. Their first lies cost me seminary; and being terminated from this prestigious site (which shows up on employment records) is certain to cause me incalculable financial (and other) harm as did the first.
