I am a former employee of Allied Barton in Miami, Florida and was fired recently for speaking up about benefits and wages for its employees (even though they won't admit it). I have heard that they have recently been a large Miami-Dade County contract to provide guard services to GSA facilities. This contract is about $10 million per year and starts in October.
I also know that they have been working behind the scenes with Water and Sewer Department to get them to sole source a contract to them. They have been selected for award and that will also start sometime after October 1. Please lend your support to all Allied Barton guards and send an email to the directors for both departments urging them to force Allied Barton to offer better wages and benefits to those that deserve it most.
