In late Febuary of 2010 Francis Blake jr. From General Rigging co. Of Detroit, Mich. Called me to do work on their building to get their lighting and power working. After meeting with Francis blake jr. And his father Francis blake sr. We agreed on the costs for restoring the electrcial power to their building, and for their cranes, which are vital to their operation. After completing the work, they had payed only a small amount of the monies owed to me, and asked me to bear with them, that they had a check for $20,000.00 coming the next day and that they will pay me the balance owed when it cleared, in the mean while, Francis Blake sr. Then asked if I could do some more work for them, trouble shooting various electrical problems throught their building, and to add the extra costs to the outstanding balance due. I agreed to work with them, and did the extra work. They continued to give me minimal amounts of the monies owed stringing me along until the work was completed. There was an considerible amount still owed on the work I had completed. After days of calling and without response from Either Francis Blake jr. Or his Father, Francis Blake sr. They finally called asking me to do work on another industrial job that required dismanteling high voltage electrical equipment and that they would pay me X amount of money and pay me for the monies owed from the previous balance owed to me.
Again they gave me, a minimal amount of money, when I arrived at the job and asked them to pay me for the previous balance owed they again gave me a small amount of money and asked me to work with them and they would pay me asoon as they recieved their first draw. I completed the work for this new job, and on the last day they gave me a small amount of the monies owed, and they promised to pay the total, the very next morning. Francis Blake jr. Never returned my calls the next day, and has not returned my calls or contacted me back from that day on. Francis Blake sr. Strung me along with numerous excuses for days that he said he would pay me on. Francis Blake sr. Now will not return my calls after telling me not to worry about " US" we wont stiff you we are good for the money. After doing alittle investigating it has come to light that they owe DTE a considerible amount of money and their electrical service is turned off due to stealing power from the electrcial co. For over three years.
I also found that they have hired previous electricians to do work for them, and then not pay them. After talking to their workers I Heard that they owed their own employees over Eight thousand dollars for work they had done and they stiffed them aswell. They owe a balance of $1770.00 to myself. These two guys are total con men. I trusted them, they are both a couple smooth talkers. They will hire people to do work, give them minimal amounts of money, string you along with numerous lies, and when the job is complete they will not pay the balance due. Stay away from working for these guys, they will stiff you not paying a large amount of money owed to you when you complete the work. They have a big industrial building with alot of equipment in it using their operation as a front to make you think they have alot of money and will use it assure you that they have the money to pay you with. I even told these guys I would work with them and they could pay me in payments and they still would not honor their agreement or return my calls. They act like big shooters especially the father. I have found out the hard way and do not want these shiesters to do this to anyone else.
