Our family has been donating to and shopping at Goodwill in Ebensburg, PA for the last 10 years, as well as their surrounding stores in Altoona and Johnstown.
Recently, there seems to be a change... Not only are prices outrageous on special ticketed items, but the employees appear to hate their job and are very rude to customers.
On our last visit, we arrived at the store with well over an hour until closing. They were buffing the floors without any signs or notice posted. My daughter slipped and fell on the floor and they did not even apologize. So we are browsing the aisle and dodging an electric buffer operated by a man who looks like he just got out of prison (probably did).
To make matters worse, 30 minutes before closing, they proceeded to turn out all the lights except the from row next to the register. This is not the first time this has happened, and I always check the in-store clock to make sure my watch isnt wrong. I just dont get it, I am looking at books RIGHT NEXT TO THE LIGHT SWITCH and a "manager" walks over without a word and kills the lights, leaving me in the dark.
They also dont seem to know they difference between a "top" and a "T-shirt". I always have to make sure they dont ring me up for a top when I pay for a tank top.
