Combined Billing

I combined internet, wireless and wireless in early 2009 thinking I'd save effort in billing (just one bill... Right?) Then I moved to a new home...
They disconnected my land line and began misappling the payments (what... Now my wireless bill is not being paid...). I had no residential service for several weeks nor did we have internet. After a few weeks, someone came out and 'hooked it up'. Each month, one of the 3 departments would contact me for 'payment'. When I indcated I had combined bill... They told me that they couldn't 'see' my bill... That I would have to talk to someone in either billing or... Combined billing. Fast forward to November when we decided to end our residential land line (but keep our wireless and internet). TWO months (Jan) after I put that request in ATT came out and disconnected land line and internet (NOT what I asked for). Two weeks went by... Payments were shuffled... Credits were applied... Account numbers were moved here and there... Each month with a call to find out if this bill was 'right' or if I could 'disregard that bill' as I had been told several times.
22 March I recieved a collections notice for a large sum. When I called, I was told it was for last month (ok... I admit... I didn't pay it... After all... It's not like it's been completely confusing...). But the additional amount from the 'collections letter' I received was for an additional amount that isn't even schedulded to be billed to me for 3 MORE DAYS. So, part of my collections notice was for a FUTURE BILL... One that had not even been sent to me. I've written the FTC, FCC and BBB just to name a few. I have told everyone I want nothing from this... No money, or credits, nothing. I only want people who are fed up to leave AT&T and send them the clear message - treat customers right or go out of business. Now... I'm not naive... They wont go out of business... But if they lose enough money... Maybe they'll change their ways and save some of you some headaches.
