I received a collections call. Evidently I was turned in by AT&T for a late phone bill. The bill was from 2003 I told the collections lady I never had a home phone. I've always had a cell phone or nothing and I have lived at the same address for yrs. And never got a bill. She said oh really our records show you got bills and actually we tried to settle with you. It was so rude the way she said it. OK, but I've still never had a bill from AT&T in my name. I told her since she was being rude I'd call my attorney. I don't know how I would get a phone in my name in the 1st place because my credit is bad. Yes, I admit it. I had an apt. W / an ex that paid the bills after he moved in w / another girl he told me he took care of the bills and I even gave him $200.00 to help. Later I started getting bills in my name so he didn't take care of them. How they were in my name I don't know because I wasn't working and never signed for anything, but his friend told me a yr. Ago he used to take my credit card and use it he even ordered pills off of the tv w / out my knowledge. I found out on my credit card bill later. When I got those bills I paid them off while living w / my g-ma so ya see if I paid the other ones off why wouldn't I have paid one more. If I knew I still could sue my ex after 7 years I would because I have bad credit and debt now. If the women would have listened I could have told her why I was confused, but she acted as if I were lying and got rude.
