Ripoff nasty service representatives no retribution offered late delivery

I ordered a collectable piece on 8/1/03 as a gift to be delivered on 8/4/03 and recieved a confirmation to that effect. When it didn't arrive, I called on 8/7/03 and gave the man who answered all of the information. He stated that someone would call me back. I called again on 8/8 and spoke to the owner (tracy) who told me they don't track packages once they leave the store. I told her that I thought it was very poor customer service having to find my own item. I am in the service industry as well, and I believe in the customer getting what they want and being fully satisfied. She snidley responded that this is the way they've been doing business for 15 years and that was just my "opinion" but that's the way it was.

I then emailed (not knowing at that point that tracy was the owner) to complain about the way the phone call was handled. It was responded to with an email that basically stated, so sorry - that's the way it is. Too bad if you don't like it. So I emailed back thanking them for yet another "professional" handling of my complaint. The next email told me to stop harrassing them and they were forwarding everything to their attorney! And I have since seen that I am by far not the only one having these problems with them. Tracey needs to learn her place in the service industry and start having some respect for her paying customers.
