I also called Metro Tele Services to cancel my magazine subscriptions due to the economy and decided to cut back on some unnecessary items for the upcoming 2010 year and Metro Tele Services first recording upon calling tells that your call will be monitored for quality assurance. Upon speaking to the lady she reminded me that my call would be recorded to make sure she was giving me the correct information and that she was new to the company. Before picking my magazines I was told that I can cancel the magazines at anytime and when I called 2 months later to cancel I was told I couldn't and the first part of the conversation was taken off the recording and you only heard me saying yes to questions of agreeing to subscribe. I think the company should be investigated, and if possible I would like to bring charges against the company if enough people file complaints about the lies told to consumers.
