Was firstly never advised of a cancellation fee when signing up. Dumb & Dumber came to install, had numerous issues & re-visits. Upgraded to HD for our new TV & they knocked/cut 3 huge holes in our rental home.installer said he needed supplies to repair them, never came back. Called Dtv, explained problem to about 4 different people and took morning off work to meet installer for him to look at the holes & say, " we don't repair drywall" to which i asked, "why did they even send you here then?" Called again & was told a damage claim would be issued, never happened. I had to pay $125 to a drywaller to repair before I moved out. Still no resolve so I am not paying the Cancellation fee bill of $261 until I get resolve to my damages. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I was charged a cancellation fee of which was NEVER DISCLOSED to me. I now join the THOUSANDS of others ripped-off by DIRECTTV. It is clearly a viral problem as I now have Commiecast with phone service that has a $200 cancellation fee on it that was also never disclosed. Think it's time for the FCC & applicable US Departments to stop this behavoir in such a larger arena. Will be glad to join class-action suit against em all!
