We hired these people for our son's wedding on nov. 28th. We paid the $10,000 as stated in the contract. On the day of the venue, the contract has stated that they will be at the house at noon to start prepping food items that are needed to be prep at the last minute. I had to call them at 2pm and ask where they are at. The first answer was we are coming. And so the day goes with 5 phone calls later and they finally showed up at 7:30pm. The wedding food should have started at 4pm@#@^%!!!
They came in dirty shirts and the chef (hoax) was in dirty t shirt! With my formal dressed guests!!! He brought the 1/3 of the food items ordered and the most awful, burnt, undercooked and smelly stuff. The ice carving, chocolate fountain ordered were also missing. I paid for 7 servers, cook and bartender and 3 showed up and stood on the by side and 2 of them caught in the cameras stole some liquors and cash from the bar. They left after being there for 2 hours and took all their undesirable food.
I came from the hospitality industry and most of the guests are real chefs from 5 star hotels around orange county. You can just imagine the embarrassment we had.in fact, 2 of my chefs friends ended up prepping food and family members (guests) working the party.
Oh, the explanation of why all these: they overbooked, not enough staff and lack of planning (these came from the mouth of their own service people). And no word from the owner, by the way she also works for the creek-inn hotel in temecula as some catering, beware!!
