Sweetbay Supermarket stillacts like Kash n Karry and portrays the image of Trash and Scary. They have tried to polish their image andcompete with some of the best. However, they have truly failed at the new image and more. They just changed their name and the signs. They cant come close to theprofessionalism, ethics and cleanliness of their competetitors (i.E. Publixand/or Winn Dixie). If you are acustomer filing a complaint they do not care about your complaint and theyprobably wont acknowledge you either. This is because they are first and the customer is last. Here is a complaint I filed recently both onthe phone and in writing. To this date, I have received no response what so ever. Everyone should consider the nature of the complaint carefully. Especially if your daughter, mother, wife, sister or any other female that you care about shops at this store and/orpossibly any other locations. It seemsthey all have the same policy.inmatter of fact the representative told me that they were backed up oncomplaints. If that does not say itallI dont know what else would. On 11-30 atapproximately 5:15pm, I shopped at store # 01869. This is the grocery store location that we shop at the most. We have spent a large amount of funds atthis store location over the years. Ihave been speaking to my wife about shopping at other stores because of theincidents that have occurred and continue to occur at this store location. When paying at the cashregister there was my cashier (Peter) another male cashier and 1 malebagger.in lieu of giving fullcourteous and friendly customer service they were talking to each other abouthitting on an unknown female customer on the Gatorade isle.in addition, I attempted to purchase itemsat the Deli and there was no one attending the Deli. When approaching the cashiers I noticed the Deli person in theback talking on the cell phone. Onnumerous occasions I have noticed numerous employees smoking in the very frontof the store and sitting on the benches while there are customers waiting inlong lines inside. I have also observedseveral employees standing around and having personal conversations while thereis only one register open and a long line. These are very common occurrences at this store location. This is totallyunprofessional and very bad customer service.in addition there is also the possibility of Sweetbay Supermarketsetting themselves for a sexual harassment lawsuit. I sincerely think someoneneeds to take a second look at management of this store. I have had my own business prior and havebeen in management for many years. Iwould never allow this type of conduct or un-professionalism in my business.in addition, thistype of customer service would never be tolerated, especially in the currentstate of the economy and business competition.
