For the past 15 years I have been a loyal customer of Direct TV and paid my bill EVERY month on time. When I decided to try another company and disconnected, Direct TV charged me a $140.00 disconnection fee. Why would the do this after 15 years of business? This is the worst business model that I have ever heard. To make things worse they tried to keep me as a customer by charging me a lower rate. Too late! WHY DID THEY NOT DO SOMETHING LIKE GIVE ME SOME FREE MOVIES OR LOWER MY BILL BEFORE I DECIDED TO TRY THE COMPETITION? Unbelievable stupidity for a business model... I am now with and will NEVER go back to Direct TV. They have no business morals or intelligence!
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
