I CANNOT believe Direct Energy! I was SWITCHED over to them over a year ago when Entergy went out of business. It has been DOWN HILL ever since. I didn't receive a STATEMENT from them in January and received a DOUBLE bill in February. (I called and they ADMITTED there was no BILL sent in January).
They had the gall TO access a LATE FEE! I have ALWAYS made timely payments, but Direct Energy did not POST them until two weeks later, and they charged me more LATE FEES! (5% of my BALANCE!)
I had my 'nuff' with them, so I searched AND searched until I found the BEST electric provider in Texas, AMBIT ENERGY! I immediately switched my electric service over to them, and in the process became a marketing consultant. I am now paying 11.99 per kWh. (This price is available to everyone).
The one thing we must all have is electricity, and if we can get it at the LOWEST RATE and best customer care in Texas, why not? (Unbiased references available from other customers)
If McDonald's had Big Macs in one area for $1.00 and down the street at another McDonalds they were selling them for $5.00, no doubt in my mind which one I would go to, and tell everyone about it!
Our electricity works on the same principal. EXACT same thing, just lower costs and GREAT customer care!
