I ordered some womens clothing online at designhers.com and was immediately billed on my credit card. Approximately 6 weeks later after no merchandise and no answer to numerous emails, I finally received an email from designhers saying they had tragedies and would be caught up with inventory and orders in two weeks. Another 6 weeks went by and again no response to emails I sent requesting a refund. I also called the telephone number numerous times but it is an automated system. When you hit the number for customer service you get a recording saying they will get back to you, but they never do.
After a total of over 3 months, I called the credit card company and filed a billing dispute. A short while later I received credit for my $104.98 and a letter from my credit card company saying the billing dispute was resolved. The company did not offer any information proving the charges valid.
The company claims to have been in business for 13 years. Caveat Emptor, buyer beware. Doing business with this internet company is not a pleasant experience.
