They offered no recourse other than a refund even though I'd invested hours installing the OS, updates, service packs, and software on this drive.
Since they offered the cheapest price on this part number, i'm inclined to believe that they are trying to draw in business with pricing and then switching the product hoping that the majority of people don't notice the slight difference in part number.
Examine the photos. The part number is blurred on the part number of the label. This serves as further evidence that they have made a deliberate effort to confuse and/or mislead they customer and at the same time provide themselves with plausible deniability.
