As a former employee of F.Y.E. (For Your Entertainment), a Entertainment store that sells DVD's, CD's, and other sorts of entertainment to customers is a part of the Company Trans World Entertainment. I am coming on this report that I have certified knowledge that a District Manager for this company has abused his power and has no remorse for firing employees for not lying to customers. This individual has a reputation in his district of being an egotistical, self-rightous, holier-than-though persona that most of his employees hate about him, but will not say anything for fear of losing their jobs in retaliation. This scum has blatanly went to stores, has told managers that they must tell customers lies and deceptions in order to sell products so he can receive a bonus for his so called "Hard Work". For example, the Back Stage Passes and the Magazines. This guy wants all employees to combine the two offers into one, when they are not one offer. If you buy a back stage pass, he wants associates to tell customers because they bought a backstage pass, they get two free months of magazines for free. But the assocate has to take your information twice for both offers. And even if you do decide to take this deal. There have been a number of complaints about customers calling and stopping the magazines from coming but are still being charged for the service. And when they try to get ahold of the company, they are either put on extensive holds excessing more than 15 minutes or they are hung up on. Now if this is how this company likes to do business, then I suggest that they need to change their ways. But as a former employee, I deem it necessary to to give the people a little behind the scenes look on how this company and District Manager do business, so they can receive some sort of profit and/or Bonus. I am one that is glad that I do not have to work for this company again, and I am boycotting purchasing anything from this companys stores. I refuse to give my hard earned money to some company that allows a tyrant like this to run a District, disrespect his employees, and threaten termination if they speak out againt him. And even if you can get ahold of a regional manager or human resource rep., they do not care, because they ultimately believe this person has the best interest of the company come first, when in fact he could care less about the company and more about people kissing his ass and obeying his every demand. This person doesn't even know about half the sales or emails he sends out to people when he visits these stores. How he became a District Manager I will never know. Are those lips still chapped from kissing ass? So be careful and mindful folks about buying anything from this company. If they allow their associates to lie and deceive customers so they can receive a "Bonus". What makes you think that they care about you? As long as you are buying products from this company, they could care less if you got hit by a bus on your way out of their stores, they got what they wanted, your hard earned money.
