We had this company install our air conditioner and were pleased with the service, so we recommended them to several neighbors in our retirement park. They stated a rebate of $1500 to some and $600 to others, then when it came time to file for the rebates, they stated that the customer misunderstood and the rebate would be several hundred dollars less. On one of the contract papers it states that the rebate IS $600, but when asked where the rebate was, the customer was told, "Oh i miswrote that, and the rebate is only $400. Come on, just because we're senior citizens doesn't mean we can't read or understand when we're being ripped off.
