Macy Credit Card
Macy's is starting to charge interest from purchase date on credit cards, sky-high rates

I was furious when I noticed that Macy's put a note on our charge card stmt that they were changing our credit agmt: 1. Raising interest rates to around 25% and 2. Starting interest charges from date of product purchase, and 3.increasing late fees, etc.
I rarely use the Macy's card and always paid off any balance immediately, if/when using the card. I called the OPT-OUT 800# and refused their new terms, asking them to immediately cancel the acct.
