My wife and I had a small credit balance of $158 on our Macy's card which we knowingly allowed to sit for several months thinking we would likely use the card in the near future. Macy's allowed one of it's "subcontractors" to charge our account for 99.99 without our authorization or knowledge. It seems ironic that the charge occured when we had a credit balance on our account. The charge was by "CT Hotline 800-826-1342"
When you call this number you receive a recoding... They do not return calls... They never answer there phone. Macy's custoemr servise claim they have no control over the charges and are very reluctant to reverse the unauthorized charge.
Today after several hours of calls to Macy's we spoke to Supervisor "Grace" at 866-593-2543 whom said if we call back Monday morning she will credit our account. We will ask for this charge to be reversed and a check for the credit balance. Then we want our account closed! We will never shop at Macy's again! Macy's teams up with there subcontractors and commmits fraud! Tom & Cheryl Yancey
