Vartec was suppose to switch me to AT&T long distance. When AT&T tried to, Vartec said that I cannot switch though I have no contract what so ever with them. I had switched to Unlimited long distance and gotten charged by Vartec because they wouldn't allow me the right to change my long distance, I got charged over $300 in long distance 3 weeks after I was suppose to have AT&T.
Then when I would call and try to speak with some sort of senior executive they would tell me that AT&T never contacted them then they kept giving me the run around. They "accidently" hung up on me several times and told me I have to pay. I contacted the FCC and told them what was going on. After me calling over 10 times told me they would switch me then didn't. I would call back and they would tell me they have no note of me telling them to change my long distance provider. I am still in this mess, can't afford the bill, and cannot resolve anything!
