This job is 100% commission. That's not the problem. The problem is the "manager" Scott Grady. Mr. Grady brings in about 30-80 interviewees a week. He looks for younger kids without much work experience... When he is desperate to bring people in he brings in older people to interview. He will hire just about anyone with college experience. Work weeks are mon-fri 7:30am-6:30pm. There is no car allowance and no "roadtrip" allowance. He comes across at first as this wonderful-too good to be true boss. He is overly nice. Then after a short while his true colors come out. He has extremely poor management skills. 90% of the people he hires do not get all the money the made while employed there. They have to repeatedly ask him to get it. He lies about his age for unknown reasons. While telling people he is going out in the field or to get something for the office, he goes home and sleeps. I could go on and on about how he has ripped off/lied/cheated many of his employees. Port City Innovations is a subsidary of cydcor. It is door to door sales. It is a tough job, but it can be done. Mr. Grady's employees work their butts off to help him.in return they get a free meal at a smokey bar on thursday nights. If someone else was running Port City Innovations... I would say go ahead try it. I worked for Scott Grady for a long while. Many people that I work with feel the same disgust for hm that I do. Do not do business with this man.
