Michael Robbins Where's my shirt?

In early August, I was online looking for a t shirt for my husband for Fathers Day (in Australia, it's the first Sunday in September). I found an online store, Loops & Pluto, which had a terrific variety of t-shirts for men and women at very reasonable prices. I ordered a t-shirt for my husband, and also one for myself. About ten days later, a parcel arrived with my t-shirt in it, but not the one I'd ordered for my husband. His shirt was listed on the invoice, with a handwritten note next to an arrow beside it, saying, "Back in stock next month".

Naively, I waited for his shirt to arrive throughout September, thinking that I could save it once it arrived for my husband's birthday in November. I didn't realise I only had 45 days from the purchase date to file a complaint with PayPal.in late September I emailed info@loopsandpluto to ask when the shirt I had ordered would be sent. I received no reply. I emailed again. Still no reply. I searched the invoice I'd received, and realised it had no contact telephone number and no street address on it - just a PO box in Suwanee, Georgia. Now I was really worried, especially when I googled the company name and found a list of other complaints against the company on the indigo threads blog. The sender was listed as "Michael Robbins" - I tracked down this website by googling "Michael Robbins Loops and Pluto" - another consumer has filed a complaint on this site that describes him as the owner of a company in Suwanee, Georgia, that makes badges (buttons).

Although the 45 day complaint lodgement period had expired, I lodged a grievance with PayPal. It's now mid-October and I have still received no word from Loops and Pluto. I'm assuming my shirt isn't going to arrive, but the website for Loops and Pluto is still going strong so presumably, despite appalling customer service, it's weathering the GFC and can well afford to send my shirt... Or a refund... Or a replacement - I'm not fussy!
