Mrs. Drury contacted me 6/12/03 at the dinner hour. At first she had trouble getting my name right, then she asked me if I had purchased in auction an item from Pretties4U. Ofcourse I said yes. She identified herself as the owner of Pretties4U, and asked me if I had left negative feedback regarding this auction. With I replied no it was neutral feedback. She said it was the same thing.
Then she launched into a tirade, and wouldn't let me explain anything. The feedback I left goes like this..."No communication, and item smaller than I imagined." I should have been more clear about the communication since she did contact me to let me know I had won the auction, but that was it! She swears she made repeated attempts to contact me, but saw I deleted her e-mails. The one she did send I did delete only after saving it to my filing cabinet. I explained it was my custom to save all correspondence from companies I have made purchases from on the internet, but she probabley didn't hear me over HER screaming!
I further explained I do not open any e-mail unless I am sure of the sender, and since I did receive her 1st letter and her identity and purpose of the mail would be identified in the e-mail header, I would certainley open it and respond accordingly. Especially since I sent her a personal check for payment. It would have been appropriate and customary for her to have e-mailed me when she received my payment to let me know it had arrived, and her projected date for shipment. She never did this.
As to the item itself, I told her it was cute, just smaller than I had imagined. I never stated she misrepresented the actual size. Well she went on to rant that I ruined her "unblemished seller record" (ha... What a joke... Now I know the truth... (truth... Something that seems to elude Mrs. Drury) She threatened to sue me for $10,000, and make my present life and future miserable. Stating with glee that I would have to go to the expense and in conveinience of flying to Arizona to appear in court and if I didn't she would win by default... And I would never be able to buy a home or qualify for a mortgage until I paid her. She said this one call wouldn't legally constitute harrassment... What would it be Debbie, you fruit loop?
She is so quick to assess and assail the character of others, with comments such as "you are a liar" and "you are unstable"... Does being a seller on EBay or a lawyers wife give her the credentials to do so??? I think not! I do possess the qualifications to assess your mental status, and it is my opinion you may be suffering from Boderline Personality Disorder. I had asked if she had a history of suing people which I got no reply, but now I know she does this or threatens to do this frequently.
This lady is bad news... And needs to be LEGALLY stoped. She likes bandying around her ability to know the law, and subsequently sue people. Well Debbie, if you'd like here's a name you can drop on your hubby... Helen MacMurray (Maio), Assistant Attorney General of the State of Ohio, licencsed to practise law in every State of this Nation, oh... Did I mention... She's also my NIECE! You have messed with too many decent people, your arrogance is evidence of your new money status... Which won't get you a cup of coffee... Anywhere... Not to mention anyone's respect! Here's another one of your statement's thrown back at you... You will get what you deserve (legally)... Count on it!
