On 8/13/09 I called the UPS Store in Troy, MO and spoke with Pam and asked for shipping on an item of which I gave her the exact dimensions. She quoted a rate of $17.50 (not including their charge to package it which would be additional) not a problem. After driving 15 miles to the location, Pam has changed her mind on the charges as they would now be $48.00 PLUS their charge for packing the item. If this store is not a rip-off I don't know what is!!!
