Waiting Parents Need to Be Concerned (Nepal, Etc) And Throughout

Adoption Associates, Inc. (AAI, Adoption Associates) is being investigated in Michigan for violating administrative regulations and laws when they imposed mandatory fee increases in early 2009. All parents (domestic and international) were led to believe that if payments were not made as AAI demanded, processing of their adoption files would halt until the fees were paid. AAI was previously investigated for such tactics in 2007 and 2008. Its Executive Director, Jane Bareman, has been unresponsive to parental concerns, disrespectful, and neglectful in her duties in running the agency and verifying critical information from overseas.
